Everything about San Montano Resort is simply breathtaking. Set in the most unbelievable beautiful spot of a hilltop in the northern part of Ischia. The jaw dropping views alone could sell it, but when you combine that with the amenities and staff, you won’t hardly beat it anywhere in the world. We had the pleasure of staying in a totally fantastic suite with a private pool and after a morning dip we could see the sun rising over Vesuvius from one of our patios (yes, there were two!). And just like the rooms, the rest of the resort was just as amazing. From magical spa treatments to numerous bars and restaurants - we couldn't have asked for a more outstanding experience. We have been to many other upscale hotels in Italy, and this was definitely one the very best. Yes it’s expensive - but hey - you certainly get what you pay for.
